Compatible with Solvent, Latex, UV Curable, Eco-Solvent Printers
LexJet's Simple Translucent Vinyl is a 6-mil premium translucent vinyl with uniform light-diffusion properties needed to produce vibrant outdoor backlit graphics including retail signage, taxi tops, bus displays, and menu boards. The adhesive bonds well to a wide variety of substrates, yet removes cleanly for up to one year. The 6-mil thickness helps make graphics easier to install and remove. The vinyl works well on a wide variety of printers that use solvent, low-solvent, and UV-curable inks.

Printer/Ink Compatibility | Compatible all inkjet printers using eco solvent, solvent, latex and UV-curable ink. |
Software Settings | Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 40-45° C, platen 45-50° C and post-heat 50° C have been found as a good place to start. |
Color Matching | For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. |
Finishing/Post Processing | Before finishing, trimming and installing the graphic, allow the image to completely evaporate and dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration resulting in vinyl degradation. |
Light Fastness | The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data. |
Removability/Expected Life | Removable for up to one year under normal exposure conditions from most common substrates. |
Optimal Print Environment | 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H |
Service Temp. Range | -40° to 176° F (-40° C to 80° C). |
