Software Settings | Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 32° C, platen 35° C and post-heat 40° C have been found as a good place to start. |
Color Matching | For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. |
Finishing/Post Processing | Pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for 24 hours. Residual solvent trapped beneath a laminate as a result of insufficient dry time can cause color shifts. |
Light Fastness | The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data. |
