Printer/Ink Compatibility | Compatible all inkjet printers using eco solvent, solvent, latex and UV-curable ink. |
Software Settings | Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 32° C, platen 35° C and post-heat 40° C have been found as a good place to start. |
Color Matching | For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. |
Finishing/Post Processing | Before finishing, trimming and installing the graphic, allow the image to completely evaporate and dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration resulting in vinyl degradation. |
Light Fastness | The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data. |
Removability/Expected Life | Removable for up to one year under normal conditions. Clear vinyl may yellow with exposure to UV radiation. Recommend testing for specific usage. |
Application Recommendations | Dry method of installation is recommended. If using the wet method, the product may fog when exposed to water. This condition will usually clear within 48 hours under normal temperature and humidity. |
