LexJet's Simple CarpetAd is a 3.4-mil, opaque white, matte vinyl designed for producing eye-catching temporary floor decals and point of purchase advertising that will be applied to indoor carpeted floors. The vinyl is backed by a removable adhesive that bonds well to most low-pile carpets and is removable for up to six months. Printer/Ink Compatibility | Compatible all inkjet printers using eco solvent, solvent, latex and UV-curable ink. |
Software Settings | Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 30° C, platen 33° C and post-heat 35° C have been found as a good place to start. |
Color Matching | For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. However, if these tools are not available use one of the onboard media settings for cast vinyl. |
Finishing/Post Processing | Pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for 24 hours. Residual solvent trapped beneath a laminate as a result of insufficient dry time can cause color shifts. |
Approved Anti-Slip Laminates | LexJet Performance Textured Polypropylene (5 Mil), LexJet Floor Velvet Laminate (5 Mil ) and LexJet Floor Gloss Laminate (6 Mil ) are UL Classified for slip resistance. |
Light Fastness | The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data. |
Removability/Expected Life | Removable for up to six months from most common commercial short nap/tight weave carpet under normal exposure conditions. The carpet must be clean, vacuumed, and dry prior to application. Carpet must be firmly attached to subfloor. For indoor use only. Please review the installation guide and LexJet warranty prior to installation. |
