I was previously using the hot press bright white paper and just switched to this. This paper is a great quality, nice smoothness to it. We primarily use matte paper for fine art prints which not only is this the perfect paper for, but it would also work for photographs too. It's also a pure white and not a natural color which is nice. Thickness is perfect, not thin where it's flimsy and extremely fragile but not too thick where you have to fight with it. Highly recommend
