LexJet TOUGHcoat™ AquaVinyl™ PSA is a 5-mil adhesive-backed vinyl with a white point that enables bright, colorful photos to be printed on a durable, weather-resistant surface.

The TOUGHcoat™ layer provides such exceptional resistance to water and scratching that graphics printed on this material will last up to 8 months outdoors without lamination. Prints will last up to two years outdoors when laminated with LexJet Elite Matte UV or Elite Luster UV laminates.

The super smooth, bright-white surface and superior ink-saturation properties of this material provide deep rich colors and the expanded gamut needed to produce great-looking photos or graphics with hard-to-hit spot colors.

The strong, permanent solvent-based adhesive sticks to most popular sign substrates and removes cleanly for up to 90 days.

LexJet TOUGHTcoat™ AquaVinyl™ PSA is compatible with all aqueous inkjet printers, whether they use dye or pigment inks or thermal or piezo printheads.

Light Fastness The fading time of ink jet ink is a direct result of the inks you choose to use, as well as the environment where the print is displayed. All dye-based inks fade noticeably under direct sunlight, in interior applications where direct sunlight may fall on the image, and/or where fluorescent or other UV lighting is present. Although the fading process is inherent in all ink jet inks, certain UV enhanced inks, pigment-based inks, and UV inhibiting laminates will extend the longevity of ink color. Contact the ink manufacturer to determine a specific ink's suitability for a particular application.
Software Settings When using this material with pigment-based inks, utilize the UCR (Under Color Removal) technique that replaces composite black (CMY) with the appropriate amount of black ink. To optimize print quality, printers should be set for the highest print quality, and media selection should be "adhesive vinyl". Ink coverage up to 350% is recommended.
Water Resistance and Surface Protection To obtain a high degree of water resistance, use only pigmented ink. Allow the print to dry for 24 hours before exposing it to moisture. Lamination is not required. Ink saturation over 350% can affect the water fast properties and show ink bleed. Dye-based inks will yield good color gamut, but bleeding may occur when the images get wet. Over-laminating dye-based ink will not eliminate image bleed, unless the material is completely sealed to a non-porous surface. Dirt and stains cannot be cleaned from the imaged surface and the surface can be damaged from excessive folding or creasing.

Simply Great
I make decals & stickers and all the other paper's I've used this one is just perfect. My Print quality always comes out excellent on my Cannon TA-30, paper is a good thinness for durability.

My thoughts so far...
I will start out by noting I started my business in 2007 and have a long time experience with vinyl print N cut.

I just got a roll of this a week ago to offer a temporary signs solution and my first prints came out great! They were clear and I did not have any issues with the prints.
I used a Canon TA-20 to print on this material and let it dry overnight before applying the recommended laminate(LexJet Elite Luster UV) and it was a flawless process for me.

Installation: The process was quick and easy I applied it to coroplast & magnet material and die cut it to shape.
These items are going to be used indoors But I am also working on some tests so I can gauge outdoor usage with more accuracy.

I will review and update after a few months to a year on outdoor use but I have plenty of faith it will last more than expected as I have printed things on this printer that I told my customer the life span was about a year and they are still using them 2.5 years later.

Thanks
