LexJet Satin Light Block Polyester (9 Mil) is a satin-textured polyester film designed for the quick and easy production of all kinds of display graphics, including trade show graphics, banner stands and point of purchase displays. The satin surface is scratch and water resistant and produces exceptional image quality.

The base material is stable, durable and will not curl so that it will stay flat when it’s unrolled for display. Compatible with solvent, low-solvent, UV-curable and latex inks, LexJet Satin Light Block Polyester does not need to be laminated: Just print, trim and ship. The 100-percent opaque, anti-static gray light-block backing layer ensures that light will not shine through the image from behind.

Expand International has certified LexJet Satin Light Block Polyester (9 Mil) for use in their line of retractable and non-retractable displays.

Software Settings Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings for pre-heat and post-heat of 40-50° C have been found as a good place to start. For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. However, if these tools are not available use one of the onboard media settings for matte calendered vinyl.
Life Expectancy Outdoor- 12 Months; Indoor- 36 Months
Finishing/Post Processing This film does not require lamination. However, using a pressure-sensitive laminate in the LexJet Elite laminate line can be applied to increase the life expectancy and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the ink to dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration which may cause color shift and affect the bond strength of the laminate adhesive.
Light Fastness The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Image longevity will be influenced by lighting source & temperature. Lamination is recommended when an image will be exposed to repeated moisture or physical handling or when prolonged product life (+1 year) is needed.
Optimal Print Environment 50-86° F (10-30° C), 70% R.H
Shipping Instructions Always roll graphics with the thinnest material facing out. When both materials are the same thickness, always roll them in the same way every time. LexJet recommends rolling the graphic with a minimum 12 inch diameter.
Ideal Storage Conditions 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store in original packaging.
Shelf Life 1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
