Brand: LexJet

LexJet Performance Textured Polypropylene Laminate 5 Mil is a versatile, pressure-sensitive, laminating film that can be used to economically produce a wide range of graphics on less costly cold-roll laminators. Made from a proprietary co-polymer film, it is more rigid and has less curl than vinyl films. It also doesn’t yellow, and may appeal to environmentally-conscious customers who prefer avoiding the use of vinyl materials.

With a price point equivalent to thermal laminating films, LexJet Performance Textured Polypropylene Laminate 5 Mil can be used to produce graphics for banner stands, trade-show displays, and POP signage. And it meets ASTM standards for the production of slip-resistant floor graphics.

LexJet Performance Textured Polypropylene Laminate 5 Mil was previously known as LexJet 5 Mil T-Flex.

Inkjet Media Preparation Printer manufacturers recommend that you allow your print to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before lamination. In areas with high humidity dry times can be longer.
Laminator Compatibility It's recommended that your laminator be equipped with a release liner take-up reel. All LexJet laminates are provided on 3" standard cores.
Laminator Settings Apply 40-80 psi and use 2-5 feet per minute for dwell time. Between 90° to 120° F heat is recommended to prevent silvering for cold lamination. If running this product in combination with a thermal backer, use a low-melt backer which activates between 190° -200° F, such as LexJet Low Melt Laminates. The top and bottom web tension should be minimal, so memory will not be a factor.
Adhesive Cure Time After applying the laminate, allow curing for a minimum of 2 hours before cutting or trimming. Maximum bond strength is reached in 24 hours.
Min. Application Temp 50° F (10° C)
Ideal Storage Conditions 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
Shelf Life 1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
Tip It is not recommended that you pre-coat any paper-faced products, such as Gator Board or Foam Core, with an adhesive that has a plastic carrier. The absorptive nature of paper products can cause the board to contract and expand with temperature and humidity fluctuations causing the release liner to tunnel. The slip aid, which is often found on PVC materials, should be removed with a suitable detergent. All substrates should be tested for your specific application prior to final job production.
