LexJet's Instant Dry Satin Canvas is a 19-mil, poly/cotton blend canvas for fine-art reproductions and photo enlargements that will be stretched or mounted. The instant-dry, microporous coating is water-resistant and highly resistant to cracking. It can be used with water-based fixatives for post-print embellishments. The satin finish and textured weave enhance the aesthetics of photo and art prints.

LexJet Instant Dry Satin Canvas works with all dye or pigment inks, including the photo-black inks used in older-model printers. It is for indoor use only.

Printer/Ink Compatibility Compatible with all thermal and piezo inkjet printers using water-based dye and pigment-based inks.
Software Settings The coating on this product is engineered for better than 340% ink coverage. The heavy coated paper setting with the highest print quality in most RIPs is appropriate, although it?s recommended that you try a few different settings to achieve optimum performance for your specific application. However, we recommend a custom ICC profile for optimal results. Please refer to www.lexjet.com for starting-point ICC profiles for some printers.
Light Fastness The fading time of ink jet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose, as well as the environment where the print is displayed. All dye-based inks fade noticeably under direct sunlight and in interior applications where direct sunlight may fall on the image, and/or, where fluorescent or other UV lighting is present. Although the fading process is inherent in all ink jet inks, certain UV enhanced inks, pigment-based inks, and UV inhibiting coatings will extend the longevity of ink color. Contact the ink manufacturer to determine a specific ink's suitability for a particular application.
Finishing/Post Processing No post processing or finishing is required on this paper, however, a clear fixative, such as LexJet Sunset Coatings, may be applied to enhance certain areas of the print.
Optimal Print Environment 86-77° F , 35-60% R.H
Handling Recommendations Due to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Ideal Storage Conditions 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
Shelf Life 1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
