LexJet GraphicMount Clear Adhesive is a permanent, pressure-sensitive solvent-based acrylic adhesive that has been a real problem-solver for many graphic producers. Not only can this adhesive be used to mount all types of graphics to virtually any substrate, it also can maintain a strong bond for many years, even when the graphic is exposed to extremes in temperature and UV light. It’s a great choice for graphics with a viewing distance of less than three feet.
This product consists of a clear polyester film coated with adhesive on both sides. A poly-coated, double-faced release liner keeps the adhesive protected until the product ready to use. Because it isn’t optically clear, this adhesive isn’t recommended for backlit or face-mounted graphics.

Laminator Compatibility | It's recommended that your laminator be equipped with a release liner take-up reel. All LexJet laminates are provided on 3" standard cores. |
Laminator Settings | Apply 80-100 psi and use 2-3 feet per minute for dwell time. Between 90° to 100° F heat is recommended, to help the adhesive flow, producing a more consistent adhesion to the print.. The top and bottom web tension should be minimal. |
Using a Sled | It is strongly recommended that you use a rigid sled (1/8" or thicker) such as polycarbonate, acrylic, masonite or aluminum. This will ensure consistent pressure across the web. Apply a release liner to your sled to prevent adhesive build-up. Use strong tape, such as packaging tape, to attach the entire width of the leading edge of the graphic to the sled. |
Adhesive Cure Time | After applying the laminate, allow curing for a minimum of 2 hours before cutting or trimming. Maximum bond strength is reached in 24 hours. |
Min. Application Temp. | 50° F (10° C) |
Service Temp. Range | -40° F to 257° F (-40° to 125° C ) THIS IS NOT A LAMINATOR SETTING. |
Ideal Storage Conditions | 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging. |
Shelf Life | 1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions. |
Tip | It is not recommended that you pre-coat any paper-faced products, such as Gator Board or Foam Core, with an adhesive that has a plastic carrier. The absorptive nature of paper products can cause the board to contract and expand with temperature and humidity fluctuations causing the release liner to tunnel. The slip aid, which is often found on PVC materials, should be removed with a suitable detergent. All substrates should be tested for your specific application prior to final job production. |
