LexJet Gloss Polyester Laminate 2 Mil is a very thin, ultra-clear, high-quality laminating film that is ideal for protecting high-end photographic and inkjet prints from abrasion, humidity, fingerprints, and exposure to chemicals. It is a popular choice for laminating photographic prints that won’t be displayed behind glass in frames, such as prints displayed at exhibitions, competitions, and art fairs.
The gloss finish can enhance the vibrancy and visual appeal of the photographic print. UV inhibitors help extend the life of the laminating film and the stability of the printed colors, particularly if the print is exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lights for extended periods of time.
LexJet Gloss Polyester Laminate 2 Mil was previously known as 2 Mil GraphicsGuard™ UV Gloss.

|Tip||It is not recommended that you pre-coat any paper-faced products, such as Gator Board or Foam Core, with an adhesive that has a plastic carrier. The absorptive nature of paper products can cause the board to contract and expand with temperature and humidity fluctuations causing the release liner to tunnel. The slip aid, which is often found on PVC materials, should be removed with a suitable detergent. All substrates should be tested for your specific application prior to final job production.
If you are experiencing curl when applying this backer to LexJet and the tension on your pull rollers is minimal; reduce the heat, reduce the pressure and reduce the speed of your take-up reel.
