LexJet Elite Polycarbonate Laminate 10 Mil with PreLume® technology is a rugged, medium-gauge, polycarbonate laminating film designed to enhance both the look and durability of graphics that will be repeatedly be hung with Velcro® hook-and-loop tape to the fabric panels of pop-up trade-show booths. This laminate works particularly well with graphics printed on LexJet's White DuPont Melinex Polyester Film.
The PreLume optical reflection technology can help you produce graphics that instantly look whiter and brighter by eliminating color casts in printable papers and films. Instead of tweaking printer settings or color profiles and reprinting the graphics, simply apply this film and the colors in your graphics will immediately look better. Plus, PreLume helps extend the life of the printed graphic by keeping it from yellowing over time.
The 2-mil, high-performance acrylic adhesive on LexJet Elite Polycarbonate Laminate 10 Mil helps ensure that the laminating film maintains a strong, permanent bond to the graphic.
LexJet Elite Polycarbonate Laminate 10 Mil can also be applied to the back of backlit graphics that require more rigidity and durability.

| Inkjet Media Preparation | Printer manufacturers recommend that you allow your print to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before lamination. In areas with high humidity dry times can be longer. |

| Using a Sled | It is strongly recommended that you use a rigid sled (1/8" or thicker) such as polycarbonate, acrylic, Masonite or aluminum. This will ensure consistent pressure across the web. | Tip | It is not recommended that you pre-coat any paper-faced products, such as Gator Board or Foam Core, with an adhesive that has a plastic carrier. The absorptive nature of paper products can cause the board to contract and expand with temperature and humidity fluctuations causing the release liner to tunnel. The slip aid, which is often found on PVC materials, should be removed with a suitable detergent. All substrates should be tested for your specific application prior to final job production. |
