The Excalibur 5000 features three cutting tools that switch quickly and easily with no need to loosen screws or hunt around for special tools. Engage the tungsten carbine cutting wheel for glass and mirrors, the scoring blade for acrylics, or the utility blade for foam boards, honeycomb plastics, corrugated cardboard, and more. A ratchet device fitted to the head makes it ideal for cutting PVC foam board up to 1/2-in. (13mm) thick without dust. A twin-wheeled heavy-duty cutter is mounted on the top sliding head and is ideal for cutting hardboard, Masonite, MDF, and aluminum-faced plastics in one pass, with minimum effort, no distortion, and no dust.
