| Can I use GF 295 on other surfaces? | GF 295 is designed for wall murals, decals and graphics for most types of smooth painted interior walls. This includes most flat, semigloss and gloss paint finishes. The surface must be smooth and clean prior to application. If applying to new paint consult the paint manufacturer for proper drying conditions before GF 295 installation. |
| How do I clean my GF 295 GraphiTex™ Ultra wall covering? | GF 295 is a Type II durable fabric and can handle scrubbing and washing in its unprinted form, but we understand this will be printed with latex, solvent, or UV inks and will have varying degrees of ink durability. We recommend gently cleaning with a nonabrasive cloth, warm water and mild detergents to avoid damaging the printed image, and spot test any cleaners on a small area of the print. For additional durability, liquid laminates like Marabu ClearShield Wall Armor can be used. |
| When paneling larger jobs, do I use overlaps or butt-seams with this product? | Butt seams are the recommended method for GF 295 GraphiTex™ Ultra. Installation methods vary by both installer and project, but the thickness and rigidity of GF 295 makes it easy to align panels and the polyester fabric is dimensionally stable, so you don’t have to worry about shrinkage or gaps after installation. |
