Software Settings Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 30° C, platen 33° C and post-heat 35° C have been found as a good place to start.
Color Matching For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. However, if these tools are not available use one of the on-board media settings for cast vinyl.
Finishing/Post Processing Pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates, like Simple Flo Wrap Gloss UV Laminate or Optically Clear Cast Gloss Laminate, can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for 24 hours.
Light Fastness The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Removability/Expected Life The removable pressure sensitive adhesive is designed for clean removal from glass. Life expectancy for exterior use is up to 1 year under normal exposure conditions.
