Description

Ultraflex SuperPrint Plus FL Matte, 13 oz. front-lit billboard and banner material designed to be the economical alternative to Normandy® Pro and JetFlex®. It is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, UV and screen printing. The face-film provides exceptional ink receptivity and consistently prints from batch to batch. SuperPrint® Plus is available in matte and gloss finishes and is available in widths from 38” – 196”. The material also comes in 492’ rolls specifically engineered for HP Turbojet and screen-printing machines. The rolls are available in 38”, 54”, 63” widths and are wound face-out on a 3” core.

Grommeting

Grommets should be placed in the hemline along the length of the banner so that the grommet is through two layers. Corner grommets should be placed where the length and width hems cross, so that the grommet is through four layers. A reinforced corner is also recommended to increase durability.

Tape & Stitched Hem

Banner tape can be used and is preferred to sewing. If sewing, a double-stitched hem is recommended with a maximum of five stitches per inch. Banner tapes at least 4-mils thick perform the best. For more information see LexJet's Banner Tape.

Finishing/Post Process

Always use pressure-sensitive laminates (LexJet Elite UV vinyl is recommended). Hand applying the laminate is not recommended. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for at least 2 hours. A 24 hour dry time is ideal.
