LexJet Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl (Multi-Textured Surfaces) is a 3.5-mil opaque, bright white matte vinyl with a 2-mil high-performance, aggressive adhesive. MTS solves the challenge of posting temporary advertising graphics and wraps on rough-textured concrete walls, construction barriers, vending machines, and other surfaces that don’t form a secure bond with conventional removable adhesives. It is also great for creating more permanent product identification labels and safety signs on industrial equipment. The bright white surface of LexJet Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl supports exceptional, high-contrast graphics reproduction on printers that use low-solvent, solvent, and UV-curable inks. The vinyl itself is opaque enough to hide existing wall markings and durable enough to resist most incidents of scuffing, tearing, and abrasion. LexJet Simple MTS can be easily removed for up to a year, but will hold graphics permanently in place for up to five years.

Compatible all inkjet printers using eco solvent, solvent, latex and UV-curable ink.

Software Settings

Printer settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 30° C, platen 33° C and post-heat 35° C have been found as a good place to start.

Color Matching

For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software.

Finishing/Post Processing

Pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before finishing, trimming and installing the graphic, allow the image to completely evaporate and dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration resulting in vinyl degradation.

Light Fastness

The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.

Removability/Expected Life

Removable for up to one year under normal exposure conditions from most common substrates. Beyond one year, the adhesive becomes permanent and durable up to five years. Recommend testing for specific usage.

Shipping Instructions

Always roll graphics with the thinnest material facing out. When both materials are the same thickness, always roll them in the same way every time. LexJet recommends rolling the graphic with a minimum 12 inch diameter.

Ideal Storage Conditions

70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
