Avatrex Transportable Imaging Technology from LexJet has recently been certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for use with HP Indigo presses. Avatrex 6500 Matte was certified and awarded a 3 Star rating by RIT for HP Indigo WS6000, WS6600, WS2000, WS4000, WS4600 and WS4050/4500 presses.

RIT's test is among the most extensive in the printing industry, requiring a variety of challenging imaging and adhesion tests to be completed before successfully passing. The 3 Star rating is the highest possible rating.

Avatrex Transportable Imaging is a thin, multi-layer coating with built-in adhesive and protection properties that can be printed with a variety of print platforms and transported and conformed to practically any surface. Avatrex 6500 Matte was developed specifically for HP Indigo presses.

And, since Avatrex is manufactured with water-based chemistries, it is a sustainable material that has no VOCs and is PVC-free.
