Sunset Fibre Rag 335g is the latest addition to the award winning lineup from LexJet’s Sunset brand of fine art and fine photo inkjet papers. It was developed as a complement to the current mix of papers, and to answer the call from end users for a high-end air-dried look on a 100% cotton rag base. Like the rest of the Sunset Fibre line, it too is modeled after the traditional fibre-based materials used in a conventional darkroom. Sunset Fibre Rag 335g contains no optical brighteners, but still contains a very bright neutral white-point. It has a gloss finish with a relatively smooth, yet very subtle textured surface, creating the perfect inkjet alternative. Elevate the value of your work and order yours today.

Software Settings The coating on this product is engineered for better than 300% ink coverage. A heavy-weight coated, or fine art paper setting is the appropriate starting point. However, we recommend that you try different settings to achieve optimum performance for your specific application.
Color Matching For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and/or color matching software.
Finishing/Post Processing No post processing or finishing is required on this paper. However, a clear fixative may be applied to enhance certain areas of the print.
Light Fastness The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose, as well as the environment where the print is displayed. Although the fading process is inherent in all inkjet inks, certain UV-enhanced inks, pigment-based inks, and UV-inhibiting coatings will extend the longevity of ink color. Contact the ink manufacturer to determine a specific ink?s suitability for a particular application. LexJet's Sunset line of fibre-based materials all meet the Fine Art Trade Guild Standards for Limited Edition Prints (otherwise known as the Blue Wool 6 test).
Optimal Print Environment 68° F - 70° F, 50% R.H
Optimal Service Environment For end use: 0° F - 300° F, 50% Relative Humidity.
Handling Recommendations Due to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Ideal Storage Conditions 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store in original packaging.
Shelf Life 1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
