LexJet extends its line of fibre-based papers with Sunset Air Dried Fibre Gloss Natural 300g and Air Dried Fibre Satin 300g. The new products meet photographers’ demands for a full line of fibre-based inkjet-receptive papers, which now includes Sunset Air Dried Fibre Gloss, Matte, Satin, and Natural Gloss.

“Sunset Air Dried Fibre Gloss Natural has the same gloss characteristics of our original Air Dried Fibre Gloss, but doesn’t use optical brighteners. Photographers who prefer the warm, natural look of the original paper can achieve it with this product. The Satin paper has a perfect luster, and like every paper in this line, it has a true darkroom feel you can’t get with any other inkjet material,” says Alex Ried, LexJet’s product manager.

All of the fine photo products in the Sunset Air-Dried line are modeled after traditional fibre-based material used in conventional photography. The products feature an acid-inhibiting layer, are compatible with popular photo inkjet printers, and are available in various sheet and roll sizes.

“So many photographers we’ve talked to were looking for a way to reproduce the look they always loved about the chemical process, but couldn’t quite match with inkjet. LexJet has nailed it with the Air-Dried Fibre line,” adds Ried. “You really have to feel the Air Dried Fibre paper, and see the printed results, to fully appreciate its uncanny ability to replicate traditional darkroom printing.”

Applications include digital fibre prints, fine art and photographic reproduction, photo restoration, greeting cards and postcards, and presentation art graphics.
