LexJet's Simple Perforated Window Vinyl is a 6-mil perforated vinyl for producing see-through window graphics that can attract attention and generate increased store traffic. The 60% printable area, 40% open area pattern, and 1.6 mm hole size is an ideal combination for producing eye-catching prints that do not obstruct visibility through the window. For added protection and undiminished clarity, use this vinyl with LexJet’s Optically Clear Cast Laminate. LexJet’s Simple Perforated Window Vinyl works well on a wide variety of printers that use solvent and low-solvent inks only.

Printer/Ink CompatibilityCompatible all inkjet printers using latex, eco-solvent and solvent. Not recommended for UV-curable ink.
Software SettingsPrinter settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 45° C, platen 50° C and post-heat 50° C have been found as a good place to start.
Software SettingsFor the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software.
Finishing/Post Processing Pressure sensitive laminates, like LexJet Optically Clear Cast Gloss Laminate, is recommended to increase the fade resistance, improve the clarity by preventing the holes from being filled with dirt and improve the ease of installation. Before finishing, trimming and installing the graphic, allow the image to completely evaporate and dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration resulting in vinyl degradation. The glass surface must be clean prior to installation. Do not use solvent or ammonia based glass cleaners.
Light FastnessThe fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Removability/Expected LifeRemovable for up to one year under normal exposure conditions from most common substrates. Beyond one year, the adhesive becomes permanent and durable up to seven years. Recommend testing for specific usage.

Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.

Shipping InstructionsAlways roll graphics with the thinnest material facing out. When both materials are the same thickness, always roll them in the same way every time. LexJet recommends rolling the graphic with a minimum 12 inch diameter.

Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
