Printer/Ink CompatibilityCompatible all inkjet printers using eco solvent, solvent and UV-curable ink.
Software SettingsPrinter settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings for pre-heat and post-heat of 30° C (86° F) have been found as a good place to start. For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software. To optimize print quality, 720 dpi will offer the best results.
Finishing/Post Processing This film does not require lamination. Pressure-sensitive laminates like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the ink to dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the solvents are gone from the print. Failure to do so may facilitate solvent penetration which may cause color shift and affect the bond strength of the laminate adhesive.
Light FastnessThe fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface of the paper. It?s always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling ink jet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet paper and film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Optimal Print Environment50-77° F, 70% R.H
Shipping InstructionsAlways roll graphics with the thinnest material facing out. When both materials are the same thickness, always roll them in the same way every time. LexJet recommends rolling the graphic with a minimum 12 inch diameter.
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
