LexJet 9 Mil Solvent Display Film SR (Scratch Resistant) is a durable, rigid PVC film with a waterfast coating that works with UV-curable inks as well as with solvent or eco-solvent inks. It is an ideal choice for graphics that will be displayed in retractable banner stands, but can also be used for other types of rollable graphics that require durability, opacity and high level of scratch resistance. The bright-white base and lustrous satin coating help produce graphics with brilliant colors and sharply detailed images.

The film is inherently durable, no lamination is required. Just print, trim, and ship.

Software SettingsPrinter settings will vary between printer manufacturers. Recommended heater settings of 30° C for both pre and post heaters have been found as a good place to start. For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software.
Finishing/Post Processing Solvent inks have excellent water-resistance when used in conjunction with this film. For some applications (such as retractable banner stands) this film may not need to be laminated. If laminating is required. pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl is recommended. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for 24 hours. Residual solvent trapped beneath a laminate as a result of insufficient dry time can cause color shifts.
Light FastnessThe fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Optimal Print Environment59° - 80° F, 50% Relative Humidity.
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Service Temp. Range0° - 300° F
Shipping InstructionsAlways roll graphics with the thinnest material facing out. When both materials are the same thickness, always roll them in the same way every time. LexJet recommends rolling the graphic with a minimum 12 inch diameter.
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
