  • Glossy surface optimizes color gamut and detail
  • Ideal for printing higher volumes of photographic decor prints
  • 10-mil glossy resin-coated photo paper for higher-speed, non-aqueous ink printers

LexJet Prime Gloss SUV is a 10-mil, glossy photo paper that is particularly good at reproducing colors and finer details. The gloss surface is great for all types of photo enlargements, including higher volumes of décor prints for corporate lobbies, hotels, and retail displays.

For most applications, lamination isn’t required. But this paper can be used with heat-activated (thermal) laminating films as long as prints are thoroughly dry.

LexJet Prime Gloss SUV produces great results with the many models of inkjet printers that use solvent, low solvent, or UV-curable inks.

Specifications are provided by the manufacturer. Refer to the manufacturer for an explanation of the print speed and other ratings.

Imaging SideMaterial is packaged with printable side facing up. Printable surface can be identified by a slight tackiness.
Software SettingsPrinter settings will vary between printer manufacturers. To optimize print quality, 720 dpi will offer the best results. Recommended heater settings: Pre-heat 37° C, platen 33° C and post-heat 37° C have been found as a good place to start. Do not exceed 60° C.
Color MatchingFor the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software.
Finishing/Post Processing Pressure-sensitive vinyl laminates, like LexJet Elite UV Vinyl Laminates, can be applied to increase the fade and abrasion resistance of the image. Before applying the laminate, allow the image to dry for 24 hours. Residual solvent trapped beneath a laminate as a result of insufficient dry time can cause color shifts.
Light FastnessThe fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Optimal Service EnvironmentFor printing: 59° - 77° F, 50% Relative Humidity.
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Service Temp. Range-40° - 176° F (-40° C to 80° C).
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
