10 Mil LexJet Clear is a clear polycarbonate film designed provide the durability that roll-up trade-show graphics demand. The inkjet-receptive, smooth printable surface provides consistent, accurate, brilliant color on a wide variety of aqueous-ink printers. The non-glare, textured front surface protects the graphics from fingerprints, abrasion, and humidity and makes the graphics easy to read under all types of lighting.

Edge strips on the clear polyester make the film visible to the media-advance sensors on the HP Designjet printers.

When the print surface is protected with a LexJet backer, the graphic panels will withstand the rigors of careless handling by people who are usually in a rush to set up and take down the booth.

LexJet offers a lifetime warranty for graphics produced with 10 Mil LexJet Clear and a LexJet backing film.

10 Mil LexJet Clear with Edge Strips is optimized for dye inks, but works well with pigment inks, too!

Printer/Ink CompatibilityOptimized for all thermal and piezo inkjet printers using water-based dye inks. Expect extended dry times if using pigmented inks. The Edge Strips are compatible with HP DesgnJet 5000 and 5500 series printers.
Software SettingsThe coating on this product is engineered for better than 400% ink coverage. The photo paper setting in most RIPs is the appropriate starting point. However, we recommend that you try different settings to achieve optimum performance for your specific application. A custom ICC profile for should be used for optimal results. Please refer to www.lexjet.com for ICC profiles for some printers.
Finishing/Post Processing It is always recommended that a protective backer, like LexJet Elite Opaque Coex Backer, be applied after printing. Always use pressure sensitive backers and a roll fed laminator. Hand applying laminates is not recommended. The print should be dry to the touch prior to laminating. Printer manufacturers recommend the print should be allowed to dry 24 hours before applying the backer. When mounting to substrates such as PVC, Acrylic, etc., a standard mounting adhesive is appropriate
Optimal Service EnvironmentFor printing: 72° F, 50% Relative Humidity.
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface of the paper. It?s always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling ink jet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet paper and film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Service Temp. Range-40° - 176° F (-40° C to 80° C).
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store in original packaging.
Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
