This low-cost, resin-coated photo paper is a smart choice for producing high volumes of photo-intensive presentations or event posters on thermal inkjet printers that use dye inks (e.g. many HP DesignJet printers as well as legacy Encad and ColorSpan DisplayMaker printers). The satin surface is a good choice for photographs that feature facial close-ups and or images that will be viewed under bright lights. You won’t find a better photo paper for the price.

You must use a pressure-sensitive laminating film for jobs that require lamination.

LexJet 7 Mil Universal Photo Satin Plus is intended for use an aqueous inkjet printers that use dye inks and thermal printheads. Expect extended dry times when using pigmented ink.

Software SettingsInk coverage up to 400% is recommended. To optimize print quality, printers should be set for highest print quality and media selection should be set on "Photopaper". For the best and most consistent results, a profile should be created using an external color calibrator in conjunction with your RIP and color matching software.
Finishing/Post Processing It is always recommended that a protective laminate be applied after printing. Hand applying the laminate is not recommended. Always use pressure sensitive laminates (LexJet's Elite UV Pressure Sensitive laminates are recommended) when using resin-coated papers.
Light FastnessThe fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light-fastness data.
Optimal Print Environment59° - 77° F, 50% Relative Humidity.
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface of the paper. It?s always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling ink jet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet paper and film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
