Photographer Eddie Tapp Explains How to Print Like a Pro at Free Capture-to-Print Events

Digital-imaging expert and Canon Explorer of Light Eddie Tapp will be the featured speaker at the free Learn from a Pro/Print Like a Pro open houses that Canon and LexJet are hosting on July 26 in Irving TX and on July 28 in Irvine, CA. Photographers of all backgrounds and skill levels can benefit from Eddie’s easy-to-understand explanations of color balance and exposure/tone controls, color management, image enhancement techniques, and how to select the correct print settings.

Along with hands-on demonstrations of the newest printers from Canon, Eddie will provide practical advice for streamlining your capture-to-print workflow and optimizing image quality with the least amount of time and effort. You will see firsthand some of the time-saving advantages of using Canon’s Print Plug-In for Adobe® Photoshop® and the Digital Photo Professional export-to-print module.

Bring one of your own files to the Open House and Eddie will select a few attendees’ images for his “Pimp- My-File” demonstration, in which he shows how easy it can be to enhance images and produce professional-quality prints.

There will also be a print contest for all Open House attendees. Upload one JPG image to our FTP site by July 22nd to get your image printed on LexJet’s Sunset Photo Metallic paper. The image will be printed on one of Canon’s new printers.
