Presented by primary sponsors LexJet and Canon, as well as White Glove First Edition Books and Rangefinder magazine, the 2009 finale of the Great Output Seminar: Professional Photographic and Fine Art Printing from Start to Finish, travels to:

San Francisco, Jan. 19

Los Angeles, Jan. 21

Santa Fe, N.M., Feb. 9

Dallas, Feb. 11

Cincinnati, Feb. 23

Nashville, Feb. 25

Charlotte, March 9

Atlanta, March 11

Miami, March 23

Orlando, March 25

In 2008 the Great Output Seminar visited ten cities, from Pittsburgh to Portland, providing attendees with in-depth, step-by-step instruction on how to color manage, streamline, and add profit to their printing workflows.

LexJet’s technical director Tom Hauenstein provides instruction on creating a quality color management system from monitor to media, time- and cost-saving workflow techniques, innovative print application ideas, and more.

“The seminar exceeded all expectations. Tom Hauenstein was great. He was responsive to questions, knowledgeable, and exceptional at presenting his material and his views,” says photographer William J. Brennan from Highlands Ranch, Colo., who attended the Denver stop on the seminar tour. “Tom’s exceptional knowledge of the output ingredients and recipes combined to make the day a great experience. The supporting cast also added value to the experience with their welcoming and friendly approach to all attendees.”

During the seminar, Hauenstein lays out a detailed road map to proper color management in four simple steps – input profiles, monitor selection, output profiles, and soft proofing – detailing each step along the way in order to take the guesswork out of the process. Additionally, Hauenstein provides in-depth hardware and software analyses and updated comparisons of the latest printer models from Canon and Epson.
