Benefits include a helpline, access to a technical assistance team, public recognition, awards programs, partner forums, and more.

An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a set of processes and practices that enable an organization to reduce its environmental impacts and increase its operating efficiency. The website provides information and resources related to EMS, and provides a systematic approach for businesses to take incremental steps toward reducing their environmental impact and boost profitability through efficient management.

Earth 911 is a Public and Private Sector Partnership through which economies of scale and scope are achieved, promoting this public service across the nation and centralizing environmental resources into one user-friendly neutral and non-governmental network. Of particular interest is the ability to source the closest recycling facility by city or Zip code and by the material you would like to recycle. Be sure to check Earth 911's Business Resources center, which offers a comprehensive suite of services geared toward the needs of businesses.

Since 1990, the Plastics Division of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) has maintained a database of buyers and sellers of recycled plastics in the United States and Canada. This database is a cooperative effort of ACC's Plastics Division in the U.S. and the Environment and Plastics Industry Council (EPIC) in Canada and contains more than 1650 recycling companies in the post industrial and post-consumer plastics industry in North America.

EPA eCycling

This section of the EPA's website provides a number of donation programs and recycling programs for old computers and other electronic products. It also includes a section on manufacturers that offer asset recovery, trade-in, and leasing programs for used electronics.
