LexJet’s Sunset Photo and Fine Art Media Win Hot One Awards

PANEL OF PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS SELECTS LEXJET’S SUNSET FIBRE ELITE AND SUNSET SELECT GLOSS CANVAS AS BEST-IN-CLASS INKJET PAPERS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND FINE ART

January 11, 2008–Sarasota, Fla. For the second year in a row, LexJet has been honored as a recipient of Professional Photographer magazine’s prestigious Hot One Award for its new inkjet photo and fine art media, Sunset Fibre Elite 285g and Sunset Select Gloss Canvas. Last year, LexJet was honored with Hot One Awards for Sunset Photo eSatin 300g and Sunset Fibre Gloss.

“Looking at this year’s award winners, we see a collection of advanced, forward-thinking products,” says Jeff Kent, Hot One Editor for Professional Photographer magazine. “The 2008 Hot One Award winners represent the best of the best in terms of usability and value for price.”

The winners were chosen by a panel of practicing professional photographers, who were asked to vote only on categories that fit within their areas of expertise. For the 2008 awards, nearly 150 companies competed in 58 categories, representing 220 products.

“The judges’ choices reflect the extremely positive feedback we’re receiving from our customers about Sunset Fibre Elite and Sunset Select Gloss Canvas,” says Alex Ried, LexJet’s product manager. “Both products fit nicely into our Sunset media portfolio, which includes photo, fine art and fibre-based paper, as well as canvas and media compatible with solvent and UV-curable printing technologies. Sunset Fibre Elite 285g won a Hot One Award in the Glossy Paper category. Sunset Fibre Elite was developed based on feedback from users of Sunset Fibre Gloss who were looking for a super-smooth, bright white glossy surface in a fibre paper. It is available in standard sheet sizes and roll widths up to 60 inches.

Sunset Select Gloss Canvas won the Fine Art Paper category. The canvas answers customer requests for a smooth gloss version of LexJet’s popular Sunset Select Matte Canvas, with exceptional consistency from print to print, unrivaled color reproduction, and excellent detail. It can be stretched or mounted and is available in standard roll widths from 17-60 inches.

Both Sunset photo and fine art media are backed by LexJet’s personal customer service, warranty, and one- to two-day UPS ground delivery anywhere in the Continental U.S. from LexJet’s nationwide distribution centers.
