LexJet Brings Fine Art Canvas Printing Capability to SUV Printers

LEXJET INTRODUCES SUNSET SELECT FINE ART CANVAS FOR SOLVENT AND UV-CURABLE PRINTERS

April 25, 2008–Sarasota, Fla. With wide-format print shops looking for ways to increase market share and delve into new and profitable high-end markets, LexJet introduces Sunset Select Gloss Canvas SUV and Sunset Select Satin Canvas SUV, which are compatible with solvent, low-solvent, and UV-curable printers (SUV).

The cotton/poly blend Sunset Select Canvas SUV products are based on LexJet’s award-winning Sunset line of fine art and photographic papers and canvases preferred by professional photographers and fine-art reproduction companies for their extremely wide color gamut and high Dmax, as well as their ability to hold fine detail.

“The secret is in the coating of the canvas, which was painstakingly developed to maximize dot control, boost apparent resolution, and expand the color gamut for solvent and UV-curable printing,” says Alex Ried, LexJet’s product manager. “As one of the primary developers of aqueous inkjet fine-art and photographic media, we’ve translated our success with water-based technology into the solvent and UV-curable realm.”

Sunset Select Gloss Canvas SUV and Sunset Select Satin Canvas SUV join LexJet’s growing line of solvent and UV-curable fine art and photographic inkjet media, which includes Sunset Fine Art Gloss SUV by Hahnemuhle, Prime Gloss SUV, and Prime Satin SUV.
