Finishing/Processing It is always recommended that a protective laminate be applied after printing. LexJet Gloss Polyester Laminate is suggested. With this media, the laminate can be hand applied . The print should dry for 24 hours before laminating. If wet application of the media is planned, it is recommended that the graphic be laminated prior to installation.
Imaging Side Material is packaged with printable side facing up. Printable surface can be identified by a slight tackiness.
Software Settings The opaque liner provides universal compatibility with printers utilizing media sensing systems and provides needed contrast for print viewing prior to application.
Light Fastness The fading time of inkjet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose to use and the environment where the print is displayed. Contact the ink manufacturer for light fastness data.
Optimal Print Environment For Printing: 72° F, 50% Relative Humidity; For End Use: -40° F - 176° F (-40° - 80° C)
Handling Recommendations Due to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface of the film. It is always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Ideal Storage Conditions 70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store vertically in original packaging.
