The customer service representative will contribute to company objectives by making and receiving phone calls with the intent of promoting and selling company products or services. May provide a basic level of customer support but refers more complex problems to account managers. Requires a basic knowledge of products and services offered. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
