To call attention to a temporary Club Patrón bar set up for race fans attending the Long Beach Grand Prix, Avid Digital in Lake Forrest, CA used LexJet Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl to post colorful graphics on the concrete walls that enclosed the parking area in which the bar/trailer was located. The graphics were printed on an HP Designjet 9000 solvent printer and weren’t laminated.

The MTS in LexJet Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl stands for “Multi-Texture Surface” because the vinyl is backed by an aggressive, high-performance adhesive that solves the challenge of posting temporary advertising graphics and wraps on a variety of surfaces that don’t bond well with conventional removable adhesives. LexJet Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl can be used to post graphics on rough-textured concrete walls, construction barriers, and vending machines. It is also great for creating more permanent, product ID labels and safety signs on industrial equipment.

According to Avid Digital’s Craig Tucker, these concrete-wall graphics were posted for about a week. He was pleased with how well LexJet Simple MTS vinyl performed, noting that the customer was very happy and had received many comments that the graphics looked as if they were painted on the concrete.

“The color was great, the graphics were easy to install, and they removed easily without any residue left behind,” adds Tucker. “We are planning to use Simple MTS Adhesive Vinyl for some other upcoming projects.”
