Brandboxx Excels in Producing Creative Wall Murals for Signature Spaces
Great things happen when you ask talented designers to demonstrate everything that’s possible when innovative print materials are used in conunction with the latest generations of large-format printing, cutting, and finishing equipment. For example, Brandboxx Display Graphics, a division of Park Printing House Ltd., used LexJet’s new Velvet WallPro™ SUV as the backdrop for an inspiring new mural that now decorates a wall of the main production room in the company’s facilities in Verona, WI.

Brandboxx customer  ZD Studios came up with the design, which enables Brandboxx to showcase the many creative effects their equipment can produce. The wallpaper was printed on a Mimaki JV5 solvent printer then coated with a Seal liquid laminator. The dimensional logo was assembled from graphics that were first printed on an Inca UV flatbed on multiple thicknesses of PVC Sintra, then router cut with Kongsberg + i-cut technology.

“Visuals are one of our best tools for selling large-format graphics,” explains Brandboxx product manager Mike Stolen. “Our main production room gets a lot of traffic because it’s one of the stops when we give tours. We thought this would be a great way to show our customers what our murals look like in real time. Most of our customers go right up to the wall and feel it.”

Brandboxx has been producing environmental graphics for the past seven years for facilities ranging from retail stores and sports facilities to brew-pubs and visitor centers.

Stolen said he was pleased with the look and performance of LexJet’s WallPro material: “We found the product was a bit thinner, but did run better with our printers. Our install team thought it went it up great!”  (Photo courtesy of Brandbox: www.brandboxx.com)
