How the Obama Administration Might Impact the Printing Business
On Tues., Jan. 27, the Printing Industries of America will present a 90-minute webinar entitled What an Obama Administration & 111th Congress Means for Printers. Presenter Lisbeth Lyons, who directs the association’s Government Affairs operations, will be joined by a panel of legislative and advocacy experts. They will talk about some of the key players in the new Administration, as well as some of the anticipated legislative activity in the areas of employment benefits and labor issues, taxes, and environmental concerns.

 

The goal of the webinar is to help printing companies understand new policy directions that are likely to be pursued, how these new policy directions are likely to affect the top action issues that association members identified in a Government Affairs survey, and grassroots actions that printing companies can undertake to influence policies and promote the success of the printing industry.

The webinar will run from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET. The fee is $99 for members, $199 for non-members.
