LexJet was recently named one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend magazine and the Best Companies Group. One hundred companies were recognized in three company categories: small, medium, and large. LexJet was recognized in the “medium” category. The rankings appear in the August issue of Florida Trend and on FloridaTrend.com.

Companies that participated in the Best Companies To Work For underwent a two-part survey process. The first part was an evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part was an employee survey to measure employee satisfaction.

“We’ve highlighted the practices of companies that have established themselves as great places to work – including everything from how they train their workers to how they communicate and the kind of pay and benefits they provide,” says Mark Howard, executive editor of Florida Trend.

LexJet was selected based in large part on its dedication to both the personal and professional development of each employee. As noted by Florida Trend, “New sales team hires aren’t allowed to talk to customers until they’ve completed two months of 8-to-5 training… The company also offers regular training sessions and refreshers on an as-needed basis.”
