LexJet Introduces Pigment-Ink Printable, Instant-Dry Film for Screen Printing
LexJet introduces LexJet Instant Dry Clear Polyester, a clear, instant-dry film developed specifically for UV-pigment ink. It is designed to meet screen printers’ demands for an instant-dry film that can be printed on an aqueous-based wide-format printer to create flawless color separations and oversized negatives.

“LexJet Instant Dry Clear is the only inkjet material available that can meet the stringent requirements of the screen-printing workflow,” says Jeff Leto, LexJet’s product manager. “It burns perfect screens, because it allows for the densest black possible, and it’s instant-dry so the ink won't smear or smudge once it’s printed.”

Utilizing a clear DuPont Melinex polyester base, the 5-mil material has a microporous instant-dry coating engineered for 350 percent ink coverage. LexJet Instant Dry Clear is compatible with all Encad, Epson, Canon, ColorSpan, Mimaki, and Hewlett-Packard DesignJet series printers with dye- or pigment-based aqueous inks.

LexJet Instant Dry Clear is currently available in 24-in. 36-in., and 44-in. widths, and 100-ft. roll lengths.
