LexJet has introduced the industry’s first totally opaque, super-smooth card stock specifically designed for double-sided (DS) UV-curable printing, LexJet DS Blockout. It has a semi-gloss, smooth surface for photographic image quality, and is available in 11-mil and 8-mil thicknesses.

"Up until the release of this product, your best bet for a double-sided printing application was either some type of rigid material, which requires multiple production steps; a rigid film like styrene, which is not totally opaque; or a scrim banner material, which doesn’t have the nice, smooth finish often required for higher-end applications,” says Jeff Leto, LexJet’s product manager. “LexJet DS Blockout is rollable and lightweight, so it ships easily and economically. Plus, it's a two-step, print-and-trim solution."  

LexJet DS Blockout is ideal for a variety of poster-type display applications, from point-of-purchase graphics and movie posters to window displays. Its super-smooth surface provides photographic punch and excellent color reproduction.

It's available in roll sizes of 38 in. x 100 ft. to 62 in. x 200 ft, and is backed by LexJet's customer service, warranty, and one- to two-day UPS ground delivery anywhere in the Continental United States from one of LexJet's nationwide shipping locations.
