SGIA is taking a strong, proactive role in the sustainability movement. Because a high proportion of its members have roots in the screen-printing business, SGIA has a history of teaching its members how implement various regulations for environmental protection and worker safety.
According to a “Selling Sustainability” article posted on SGIA’s website, you can “increase tomorrow’s profits with good environmental management today.” The paper suggests six small steps you can take to get the sustainability ball rolling and emphasizes that “Operating your business with consideration for the health of the planet is a win/win: It’s the right thing to do, and it will increase your value in the eyes of your customers.”
