CEEP is a three-year program of media rebates for customers who buy a wide-format inkjet printer from LexJet. While all users of wide-format printers can save money through the program, CEEP can be a particularly good deal for customers who have one or two big jobs coming up or busy shops who want to upgrade to newer models. We asked LexJet customer-service representative Kim Yochum to answer some frequently asked questions about how CEEP works:
Q. How do I qualify and benefit?
A. Purchase any wide-format inkjet printer that is 17-in. or wider from LexJet and ask your account specialist to enroll you in the program. Once you are enrolled, you’ll receive a 5% in-site rebate on any purchase of LexJet-approved supplies for the next three years. So if you buy $500 worth of LexJet materials during a particular month, you’ll earn a $25 credit that can be used to reduce the amount you are invoiced on your next purchase from LexJet. Your rebate credits are posted to your account at the end of each quarter. You will continue to earn rebates for three years from the time you buy the printer.
If you do a lot of printing, these rebates can add up quickly! Some LexJet customers have earned rebates that have exceeded the purchase price of the printer. Over the three-year life of the rebate program, most LexJet customers earn rebates that are bigger than the one-time discounts that other dealers might have offered on the purchase price of the printer.
Q. Do I have to use the rebate to buy more media?
A. No. Although you earn it by buying media, you can spend it on anything LexJet sells. You can use your rebates for inks, RIP software, a monitor, color-management tools, or even your next printer. However, some CEEP participants use their rebates to try new LexJet products, including some types of media they might not otherwise have tried.
Q. Do I have to buy a certain amount of media per month?
A. There are no minimum purchase requirements per month. And there aren’t any maximums either. So if you do a lot of printing during trade-show season, you can earn some pretty substantial rebates. These rebate credits will still be available whenever you need to make your next purchase, even after the three-year period during which you are eligible to earn rebates.
Q. How do I know which materials are approved?
