Wide-Format Print Buying Behaviors in Vertical Markets
Buyers of large-format graphics come from many different vertical markets, each with significantly different graphic requirements and buying practices. Very few small-business owners have the time or resources to develop a tailored approach to sell into each market.

To help print service providers overcome some of the obstacles associated with diversifying into new markets, InfoTrends is conducting an in-depth study entitled Who Buys Wide-Format? Understanding End Use Markets and Demand Drivers of Wide-Format Graphics Printing.

According to InfoTrends Director Tim Greene, the study will thoroughly examine how print buyers in each vertical market differ in terms of their receptiveness to various sales methods, selection criteria, and budgets.

Through a series of structured surveys and interviews, InfoTrends will seek to answers such questions as: What is the outlook for wide-format graphics budgets? Which industries will drive future growth for wide-format digital graphics? Which industries and applications are threatened by digital signage? What additional tools and information can suppliers of printing systems and supplies provide to help print-service providers grow their business?

The report is expected to be published in March.
